Streamline Your Health
Nutrition & Recipes
Abs really are made in the kitchen. Meal planning and prepping used to freak me out, so I know what you are thinking. I take the approach to better nutrition in baby steps to help you be successful long term.
My journey started by committing to the infamous 90 day at-home workout program, P90X®. I know one of the many programs my company has will help you get started on your journey, too.
My main goal for you, whether you're visiting my page for one minute or stay on your journey with me for life, is to develop your self love. Self love is so important, especially for former competitive athletes and teachers that care a lot about their jobs.
Mental health is just as important, if not more important, than physical health. It’s the reason I invested in a life coach as well as a therapist in my late 20s. Follow my journey and join my team to get this same support and guidance on your mental health journey as well.
It's hard to start new goals alone, especially workout and nutrition goals. I needed my husband, Cody, as my accountability partner when I first started my journey. If you don't have a spouse or friend to rely on, that's what me and my team are here for.
Hope, Emily S., Abbey, Emily J., Haley, and Meg are just a few names you'll come to know as your best friends and mentors. I KNOW your name belongs on this list someday!

34 Weeks Pregnant
34 weeks this past week! 🍍.My team that has been through our 80 day workout program will understand when I say “pineapple” for this pregnancy 😆 You’ll have to go through the program too if you want to get the inside joke 😉.This week my belly feels BIG. Idk where or how our baby is going to continue to grow but we are running out of room! I have slowed down even more this week and enjoyed some naps, too. I’ve also been more hungry the past two days. #givemeallthefood ..This is my last week of virtual teaching so I’m excited to be focused on finalizing our nursery and finishing reading my baby books before our baby comes once this week is over! 🥰 Next weekend we also have our maternity photo shoot planned (if rain doesn’t postpone it again! 🤦🏻♀️) Little peanut, we love you so much.
32 Weeks Pregnant Bump Update!
32 weeks and baby is the size of a cantaloupe 🍈.Baby has felt bigger this week for sure! His or her feet have been creeping closer up under my right ribs sometimes – so if you see me make a face like this 😳 or this 🥴 – that’s babe’s feet feeling funny by my ribs! I’ve also lost my appetite a little this week and been eating more bland foods, like soup, toast, and crackers, kind of like my first trimester! I’m guessing that might be from all my organs being crushed now 😆..Before we started thinking about starting a family (before this self love journey I’ve been on), a big fear of mine that kept me from wanting to start a family was I didn’t feel good enough. I didn’t feel I was ready mentally to be a good mom, yet. I thought I had so much baggage/trauma to still deal with. I also never saw myself as a leader before this journey, which kept me from feeling like I could do this job as a virtual coach successfully..You might think you’re not good enough, too. Or that you could NEVER be a leader like me. But my […]
How to Break Your Bad Habits for Good
I have this funny video on my instagram (from this same post) of Sonny learning to climb the stairs at my mother-in-laws house. He goes up each step so slowly, perfectly, carefully…until the last two steps. The end is eye level, but he stops, turns around, and heads back down to the bottom of the stairs just as slowly and carefully as he came up them. Have you ever felt like Sonny before? So close to the end, you see the finish line, but you end up sabotaging your efforts and feel like you’re right at the beginning? Or LIFE happens and you fall back to your old habits?.Gurllll I’ve been there, too. I used to come home and ball my eyes out every time I had a hard day at teaching, especially if I let the stress and pressure build up every quarter or so. I thought I was doing so well, climbing those steps, feeling good, everything is fine, but then BOOM 💥 nope back to square one. My inner mean girl would come back to:.“I’m a horrible teacher”“I’m so stupid”“How have I not figured out this teaching thing yet”“Everyone else seems like they have it all together”.Heres […]
Life is Never Certain
Our world 🌎 and your life has never been certain..• Life can be gone in an instant •• A natural disaster can come without warning •• A car accident can happen totally out of our control •• Something can break or malfunction •.It’s just none of us have ever imagined something like this happening, SO many unknowns coming true, even though it could’ve happened at any time..I know you might think I’m crazy and wrong to say this. This might sting at your heart. 💔 I know it did for me when I first heard it on The Life Coach School podcast, but isn’t this true? That life is uncertain. The podcaster, Brooke Castillo, also said life is always 50/50. Half negative and half positive. Or half certain and half uncertain..What you can be certain of right now is one thing: your thoughts. You are in complete control of your thoughts right now. Not saying they always have to be positive..I’m also certain you might be in need of some certainty right now. You can be certain in my support group you’ll get:.• Love and support from me and other women •• A place to spend some time on you […]
✨ Meal Plan Template *with prenatal adjustment! ✨
Save this post by clicking the flag in the corner of the picture!.Since I haven’t been living in my own home ((see my bump 🤰🏻 post from two days ago)) naturally I haven’t eaten what I usually eat with Cody. Nothing wrong with that at all because I am so grateful for the food I get here at my mother-in-laws! 🙏🏻 I am trying my best to stick to this meal plan template, though. This is similar to what you get in my challenge groups if you choose to get help with nutrition, as well..• Breakfast: carb + protein + fruit + healthy fat• Lunch: carb + protein + veggie + fruit + healthy fat• Snack: daily superfood smoothie (gives me a veggie + fruit + protein serving)• Dinner: carb + protein + veggie Prenatal adjustment: protein + veggie + carb. What food group do you struggle with getting in the most? ⬇️⬇️⬇️ For me, it’s always been protein and veggies! *See my nutrition disclaimer.

Arlene has been the best coach/mentor I could ask for! For almost a year I’ve learned so much from her in order to change my lifestyle and become a much healthier and happier person. She is SO inspirational and keeps me motivated to make the best decisions for me on even my craziest and most stressful days. I’m incredibly thankful to have her as a coach and friend along this journey!
Arlene is the most supportive and compassionate person that I know- which makes her an amazingly inspirational coach! She is not afraid to share and is always there to listen. Arlene not only helped me physically, but has been a support for me emotionally as well. I feel lucky to call her a friend.
Arlene is absolutely amazing. She is super supportive, so encouraging, and walks with you through your journey. Her positive attitude draws you in and makes you feel super comfortable. I was able to finally finish and entire workout program, while being encouraged by her, for the first time ever. Thank you Arlene for you time,.effort, support, love, and encouragement
It’s been fun connecting with Arlene over the past year through health and fitness. We have known each other since… middle school I think? Arlene is a great support and accountability partner. She is willing to work with you on your specific goals and meet you where you’re at on your own fitness journey. The support of her group has helped me stick with my plans to achieve my goals!
I love Arlene and how incredibly supportive she is! I have been looking for some serious accountability for a while during my fitness journey, and it’s been so hard to find! But she reached out to me and has not given up on me (even when I’m seriously slacking). She always so good about reaching out to simply see how life is going. She interested in just more than tracking my workouts, she’s into the personal side as well!
