Streamline Your Health
Nutrition & Recipes
Abs really are made in the kitchen. Meal planning and prepping used to freak me out, so I know what you are thinking. I take the approach to better nutrition in baby steps to help you be successful long term.
Fitness
My journey started by committing to the infamous 90 day at-home workout program, P90X®. I know one of the many programs my company has will help you get started on your journey, too.
Self Love
My main goal for you, whether you're visiting my page for one minute or stay on your journey with me for life, is to develop your self love. Self love is so important, especially for former competitive athletes and teachers that care a lot about their jobs.
Mental Wellness
Mental health is just as important, if not more important, than physical health. It’s the reason I invested in a life coach as well as a therapist in my late 20s. Follow my journey and join my team to get this same support and guidance on your mental health journey as well.
Personal Coaching
It's hard to start new goals alone, especially workout and nutrition goals. I needed my husband, Cody, as my accountability partner when I first started my journey. If you don't have a spouse or friend to rely on, that's what me and my team are here for.
Uplifting Community
Hope, Emily S., Abbey, Emily J., Haley, and Meg are just a few names you'll come to know as your best friends and mentors. I KNOW your name belongs on this list someday!

9 months old
One day late posting this, but our little peanut is 9 months old! 😭.This past month, Michael has:.🦷 gotten his two top teeth, making his total teeth count now 4 (with the two next to them on their way 😬)👀 learned to crawl!!🕺🏻been standing on his own using anything he can reach and climb up with, like the couch🫐 tried lots of new foods: beets, lamb, feta cheese, saganaki, sausage, asparagus, Cheerios, and strawberries🙈 said some new words, like “yeah,” “no,” and “wow”.“Alexa, order drawer and cabinet latches.” 😂.It’s been so cool to see how excited Michael is every month as he grows and can discover new things. The pure joy on Michael’s face when it happens just melts my momma heart. ❤️

Mommy win and mommy fail
Being a mom is hard, y’all..I’ve been listening to the podcast @mamasaidpodcast this week and love it. Great humor for my fellow mommas out there who need a good laugh after a tough day. I wanted to share my own mommy win and fail from this week like they do on the show..Mommy win: I’ve been able to consistently work my online coaching business before bed this whole week. Even if it’s only a few minutes of work for each task I like to work on, it’s better than what I’ve done all month..Mommy fail: Finding that leaf in Michael’s mouth last night. 🤦🏻♀️ I can watch him so carefully but the minute my back is turned just to do one thing in the kitchen, that happened..What’s a mommy win and a mommy fail from you this week? ⬇️⬇️⬇️

You are strong, momma
For any new or soon-to-be mommas: you are stronger than you think you are..Take it from me! I was a basket case leading up to Michael’s birth. I did NOT want a C-section and all the drugs that came with it. I read so many books, listened to hours of podcasts, & we hired a doula in hopes to have an all natural birth at the amazing natural birth center at our local hospital. I’m all about health and fitness so I physically thought I could do it and I also didn’t want any drugs to get into Michael’s system to possibly have breastfeeding go wrong. I knew this wasn’t the case for all babies but I thought that might happen if I decided to get any kind of drugs during labor/delivery, and I really wanted to breastfeed..I’ll spare you the details (I did post my five part birth story if you scroll back some posts) but eventually I did end up needing an emergency C-section. Myself, my doula, my husband, my midwife, the nurses & doctors did all they could but there was no way Michael would have come vaginally. Idk if it was the drugs or my own […]

The struggle is real
We are back and that week and a half social media break was much needed 🙌🏻.Who knew how much our baby Michael would grow during this short time: one of his top teeth broke through and he learned to crawl 😳.As a new stay at home mom (and the personality that I have) sometimes I feel I want to do as much as I did before I was a mom. I try to catch up all day and tell myself “when he’s napping I’ll do that…when he’s playing I’ll do this…” but a baby can only be left to himself for so long before needing the next thing: a diaper change, a snuggle, food, or kept away from danger 😆. So one task can seem impossible to do all day long. I also want to get as much sleep as I used to get before being a mom so getting up early is close to impossible with waking up in the middle of the night. Mommas: you get what I’m saying right??!.From one stay at home mom to another: you are doing enough. Your world is your baby. He needs you more than that task needs to be done. And […]

10 pounds less
I weigh 10 pounds less NOW with an almost 8 month old than I did when I was in my first year of teaching 😳.The overwhelm my first year of teaching brought to me felt like the biggest weight on my shoulders. I’d be out of the house a total of 12 hours some days with my long commute. I was running on pb&js, granola bars, coffee, and any other snacks I could down before I laid on the couch once I got home and consumed as much tv as I could to drown out the running to-do list in my head..Do you feel the same way? Run down? Not sure where or how to start when it comes to living a healthier life? Don’t you want to be the best example for your students?.This is why I coach. This is why I LOVE helping teachers on their health and fitness journeys. Because I was EXACTLY where you are right now. Beat down. Trying to talk yourself out of it saying “it’s not that bad.” It is bad!! If you’re crying on a weekly basis, and I mean big long cries, You need me in your life, friend. (Again, I’ve […]

“It takes just as much energy to doubt as it does to believe.”
I doubt you’ll read the rest of this post. 😂 just kidding!.I was picking at my nails, sweating, breathing heavy, and had a tight chest before my personal trainer certification test last Saturday. I would doubt myself one minute, but then remember my positive self talk I’ve learned over the years as a virtual coach the next. I was a roller coaster of emotions..Whether I passed or failed, I knew I’d much prefer to have believed in myself than to doubt myself the whole time beforehand. And don’t get me wrong, this is SO hard to do if you’re so used to doubting yourself..This is still something I need to work on in certain areas of my life now. And I’ve been a virtual coach for almost 4 years!! What I love about being a coach on this team and in this community is that we are all a work in progress – always. We can always improve and learn. Because no one is perfect!!.Where do you doubt yourself the most? Let’s have a conversation! I love chatting about mental health and growth 😊⬇️
Success Stories
Arlene has been the best coach/mentor I could ask for! For almost a year I’ve learned so much from her in order to change my lifestyle and become a much healthier and happier person. She is SO inspirational and keeps me motivated to make the best decisions for me on even my craziest and most stressful days. I’m incredibly thankful to have her as a coach and friend along this journey!
Arlene is the most supportive and compassionate person that I know- which makes her an amazingly inspirational coach! She is not afraid to share and is always there to listen. Arlene not only helped me physically, but has been a support for me emotionally as well. I feel lucky to call her a friend.
Arlene is absolutely amazing. She is super supportive, so encouraging, and walks with you through your journey. Her positive attitude draws you in and makes you feel super comfortable. I was able to finally finish and entire workout program, while being encouraged by her, for the first time ever. Thank you Arlene for you time,.effort, support, love, and encouragement
It’s been fun connecting with Arlene over the past year through health and fitness. We have known each other since… middle school I think? Arlene is a great support and accountability partner. She is willing to work with you on your specific goals and meet you where you’re at on your own fitness journey. The support of her group has helped me stick with my plans to achieve my goals!
I love Arlene and how incredibly supportive she is! I have been looking for some serious accountability for a while during my fitness journey, and it’s been so hard to find! But she reached out to me and has not given up on me (even when I’m seriously slacking). She always so good about reaching out to simply see how life is going. She interested in just more than tracking my workouts, she’s into the personal side as well!
