Streamline Your Health
Nutrition & Recipes
Abs really are made in the kitchen. Meal planning and prepping used to freak me out, so I know what you are thinking. I take the approach to better nutrition in baby steps to help you be successful long term.
My journey started by committing to the infamous 90 day at-home workout program, P90X®. I know one of the many programs my company has will help you get started on your journey, too.
My main goal for you, whether you're visiting my page for one minute or stay on your journey with me for life, is to develop your self love. Self love is so important, especially for former competitive athletes and teachers that care a lot about their jobs.
Mental health is just as important, if not more important, than physical health. It’s the reason I invested in a life coach as well as a therapist in my late 20s. Follow my journey and join my team to get this same support and guidance on your mental health journey as well.
It's hard to start new goals alone, especially workout and nutrition goals. I needed my husband, Cody, as my accountability partner when I first started my journey. If you don't have a spouse or friend to rely on, that's what me and my team are here for.
Hope, Emily S., Abbey, Emily J., Haley, and Meg are just a few names you'll come to know as your best friends and mentors. I KNOW your name belongs on this list someday!

Want to know a secret?.➡️ I love and eat carbs (mostly healthy ones! Like old fashioned oats and whole wheat items). Daily. Not only on the weekends as a “cheat.” But of course I usually enjoy (in moderation) treats for dessert, like a small piece of brownie, a small mug of ice cream, or that boxed frozen pizza (bc there’s nothing else to cook for dinner and sometimes I just want to make a lazy dinner 😂)..I EAT a lot of food every day. I know I don’t show it all to you guys, but PLEASE let go of the fact that you need to eat less than 1200 calories (or whatever calorie number you’re obsessing over). It needs to be (mostly) healthy foods to balance the nutrients your body needs. I don’t worry about calorie numbers either. Sure I could eat chips all day but that wouldn’t fuel me whatsoever for my workouts of SAHM duties 😆..Do carbs scare you? Why? ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Years ago, I came home from another exhausting day of teaching, sat on our couch 🛋 to continue binge watching who knows what show, and just started crying. I had finally felt like I had gotten in a grove with teaching, but something was still missing. I envied that Cody had something outside of work that he loved so much he’d lose sleep 💤 over (and still does!) and that’s golf. I wanted something like that. Where I’d just get lost in doing it, and felt alive doing it!.After some soul searching (meditating and journaling a lot!) I realized I loved health & fitness and sharing about it on my social media feed. I loved being a positive space for people to turn to when there was so much negativity out there (and still is). And then I realized there was a business I could start to do just that!.The reason I do what I do as a virtual coach is still the same reason I continue to do it today: to inspire you on your own journey. To show you that it IS possible, even through life’s ups and downs (or even while building your family like we have […]

Share with me below or tell me what you struggle with when it comes to this topic so I can help. Becoming a mom changes your life
There is no doubt becoming a mom changes your life..Your top priority becomes your babe. More time is spent around them and with them than anything else. If you’re meeting up with a friend or running errands, they are more than likely coming with you. Or if you’re just going to the bathroom. They’re coming with you ((while they can)) so you can keep them away from danger 😂.But for you this might be draining. You want a break probably daily. Just a little break to have for yourself. Their nap time isn’t enough because you’re just trying to catch up with house chores..Imagine feeling like you are present for your babe AND you have something on the side for yourself to be proud of AND that you look forward to daily that only takes a little bit of your time?.That’s exactly why I love what I do as a virtual health & fitness coach. I get to love on my Michael AND influence my clients on their health & fitness journeys. I also make my own hours. 🙌🏻.Myself and my team have helped my coach @hsloanhoffer earn a retreat this year to Destin, Florida and a separate savings account […]
Improve your mental health
5 ways to improve your mental health NOW! ⬇️ . Even as a stay at home mom, YES I am busy. The best kind of busy. 🤪 Michael keeps me on my toes. In the past week I have relocated our spices and pretty soon I’ll have to move our treasured Disney VHS tapes. But I know we are busy. Especially with school starting back up. So here are some fast and easy ways to slow down and chill. 5 ways to improve your mental health NOW! ⬇️ . While you’re babe is napping (or enjoying independent play safely): . ✨ lay down, close your eyes and take 5-10 deep breaths ✨ play calming music using the @calm app ✨ turn off all electronics, put your phone in the other room, and read a book ✨ relax outside while your babe plays – again phone/electronics away if you can ✨ go for a slow, calming walk . What are some of your favorite ways to de-stress? ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Slow down..Breathe. Put your phone away and just watch your little one. We can learn so much about life and about our babies when we do this for just a short time every day. Being real intentional and just observing what they do or say. Watch how the simplest things become the most fun – like this plastic storage drawer Michael pulled out and sat in 😂..I know too often I get caught up in my phone, adding to my Amazon wish list, posting to my stories, looking up a playlist to play in the background. But all we really need to do is just stop for a second and slow down. You have so much beauty right in front of you. ❤️.Share this so other mommas can hear this, too! Or tag a momma friend below who needs to hear this ❤️⬇️
Arlene has been the best coach/mentor I could ask for! For almost a year I’ve learned so much from her in order to change my lifestyle and become a much healthier and happier person. She is SO inspirational and keeps me motivated to make the best decisions for me on even my craziest and most stressful days. I’m incredibly thankful to have her as a coach and friend along this journey!
Arlene is the most supportive and compassionate person that I know- which makes her an amazingly inspirational coach! She is not afraid to share and is always there to listen. Arlene not only helped me physically, but has been a support for me emotionally as well. I feel lucky to call her a friend.
Arlene is absolutely amazing. She is super supportive, so encouraging, and walks with you through your journey. Her positive attitude draws you in and makes you feel super comfortable. I was able to finally finish and entire workout program, while being encouraged by her, for the first time ever. Thank you Arlene for you time,.effort, support, love, and encouragement
It’s been fun connecting with Arlene over the past year through health and fitness. We have known each other since… middle school I think? Arlene is a great support and accountability partner. She is willing to work with you on your specific goals and meet you where you’re at on your own fitness journey. The support of her group has helped me stick with my plans to achieve my goals!
I love Arlene and how incredibly supportive she is! I have been looking for some serious accountability for a while during my fitness journey, and it’s been so hard to find! But she reached out to me and has not given up on me (even when I’m seriously slacking). She always so good about reaching out to simply see how life is going. She interested in just more than tracking my workouts, she’s into the personal side as well!
