We are back and that week and a half social media break was much needed 🙌🏻
.
Who knew how much our baby Michael would grow during this short time: one of his top teeth broke through and he learned to crawl 😳
.
As a new stay at home mom (and the personality that I have) sometimes I feel I want to do as much as I did before I was a mom. I try to catch up all day and tell myself “when he’s napping I’ll do that…when he’s playing I’ll do this…” but a baby can only be left to himself for so long before needing the next thing: a diaper change, a snuggle, food, or kept away from danger 😆. So one task can seem impossible to do all day long. I also want to get as much sleep as I used to get before being a mom so getting up early is close to impossible with waking up in the middle of the night. Mommas: you get what I’m saying right??!
.
From one stay at home mom to another: you are doing enough. Your world is your baby. He needs you more than that task needs to be done. And the world will keep spinning if you don’t get that task done. Your priorities and your work has changed, and that’s ok!
.
Tell me new mommas: what has been the hardest thing for you to adjust to? ⬇️⬇️⬇️
